Organic Coconut Oil 1L

Organic Coconut oil is easy to use, substitute for other oils and fats in baking, melt in a pan for frying, or brush over your meats and vegetables for roasted! It is a white, semi-solid oil. It has a subtle coconut aroma and adds a very mild pleasant hint of coconut taste to the food. The warmer it is the more liquid it becomes. If the climate is cooler and a liquid oil is preferred, simply heat the coconut oil in a bowl within a bowl of hot water - it will melt quickly.

This organic coconut oil has about 55-57% Lauric Acid content. This is high compared to many other coconut oils which only have around 50%. Our coconut oil is made from the pure white coconut flesh which uses a cold press expeller process (low temperature extraction) to produce this fine oil. Many of the cheaper oils are produced from both the white flesh and the internal brown skin (testa), producing a higher yield and lower quality oil with that lower Lauric Acid content.
